We know choosing a complexion shade online can feel a little risky - so we’ve made it easier to shop with confidence.

If you use our Shade Finder and your match isn’t right, we’ll make it right.

OUR PROMISE

If you used our Find My Shade tool and if the shade you received isn’t the right match for you, we will offer either: 

  • a free replacement shade, or 
  • a refund, depending on what you prefer. 


This promise is here to remove the guess work and help you find your perfect match, risk-free. 

FIND YOUR SHADE
ELIGIBILITY

You’re covered by the Shade Match Promise when:

  1. You selected your shade using our Find My Shade tool on the product page, and 
  2. The shade you received is not a suitable match, and 
  3. You contact us within 14 days of delivery. 


We may ask a couple of quick questions to help confirm your best replacement shade (so we can get it right the second time).

If you didn’t use the Find My Shade tool

If you chose your shade without using the Find My Shade tool, we’ll still do our best to help. 


Because the Shade Match Promise is designed specifically around the tool, replacement or refund requests in these cases are assessed individually, and our customer service team will use their judgement to support you fairly. 


If there’s a genuine issue, we’ll absolutely work with you to find a solution. 

Products included in our Shade Match Promise

The Shade Match Promise applies to our 5 full size Foundations:

  • INIKA Organic Loose Mineral Foundation
  • INIKA Organic Serum Foundation
  • INIKA Organic Liquid Foundation
  • INIKA Organic Baked Mineral Foundation
  • INIKA Organic BB Cream
What we may ask for 

In some cases we may request photos, especially if: 

  • the shade looks very different to what’s shown online, or 
  • we need to check for a possible product issue or website image error. 


Photos help us troubleshoot quickly and improve our shade content for everyone. 

Returns 

You don’t need to return your product.

Due to hygiene reasons, opened complexion products can’t be resold, and returning them adds unnecessary shipping and processing impact.

Fair Use 

We trust our community and want this promise to stay fair for everyone.  To help prevent misuse, we may limit the Shade Match Promise to: 


  • one claim per customer per product, and/or 
  • accounts with repeated refund/replacement requests outside normal use. 


Our team has full visibility of order and support history to ensure the policy is applied consistently and fairly. 

How to claim 

 To request a replacement or refund: 


  1. Visit our Contact page here.
  2. Include your order number and let us know: 
    - the shade you purchased 
    - what feels off about the match 
    - whether you’d prefer a replacement or refund 
  3. If needed, we’ll ask for a quick photo in natural light to help confirm the best next shade. 


We’ll always aim to resolve your request quickly and make sure you feel confident in your match.
